Sgt. D. L. Dimithra N. Gunasekara

Sgt. D. L. Dimithra N. Gunasekara spearheaded the college platoon. As a school boy Sergeant Gunasekara was seen promoted to the Rank of Company Sergeant Major (CSM) in the year 2008. This period saw Army Cadteing fading off from St. Peter’s College and being replaced with Air Force Cadeting. Lt. Gunasekera in his tenure as a school cadet underwent the transition where 2005/2006 he and his platoon was Army Cadets but in years 2006/2009 he was an Air Cadet representing college. Joining intake 31 he underwent SLA Volunteer Corps Training and opted to serve as the Master in Charge of College Cadet Platoon from 2009 to 2013.
