President's Message  Mr. Niroshan Costa

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with great pleasure and immense pride that I address you as the newly elected President of the St. Peter's College (SPC) Cadet Foundation since the 23rd of June 2023.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all of our elected committee members. Your dedication and commitment to our beloved foundation are truly commendable, and I am excited to work alongside each one of you as we embark on this new journey together.

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional services rendered by our outgoing President, Mr. Dilan Wijesuriya, and the outgoing committee members. They have tirelessly worked from the inception of the SPC Cadet Foundation, (also must not forget the contribution of Sgt. Hemish Fernando behind the curtains.) overcoming numerous challenges to create the standardized platform that we have today. Their contributions have paved the way for us to achieve the moral objectives of the old cadets of St. Peter's College.

As we all know, the SPC Cadet Foundation is unique in its own right, for our spectators are none other than our own old cadets,students and parents. Our shared values and background as part of the SPC Cadet Platoon have shaped our foundation into something truly special.

I am delighted to share that the new committee of the SPC Cadet Foundation has been hard at work in drafting the current year's plan. Our primary objectives for the year 2023/2024 are twofold. Firstly, we aim to establish a deeper bond between SPC ex-cadets, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among our members. Secondly, we are committed to assisting the SPC College Cadet Platoon in achieving the highest standards of excellence.

I am pleased to inform you that our drafted year plan has received the approval of the college authorities and is set to be executed throughout the year 2023 and 2024. Myself and the committee, including our two Vice Presidents, are dedicated to realizing these goals, and we count on your usual cooperation and support in our endeavor to strengthen and advance the foundation while fulfilling our core objectives.

I extend an open invitation to all ex-cadets to join hands with the SPC Cadet Foundation, uniting with us in our genuine efforts. Together, we can work towards a brighter and more fulfilling future for our beloved foundation.

In closing, I would like to offer my best wishes to all of you. May our collective efforts be blessed, and may we continue to uphold the values and traditions of St. Peter's College Cadet Foundation.
