Sgt. Fernando V. J. H. spearheaded the platoon as the sergeant whilst making a milestone in college cadeting with a Guard of Honour being presented at college’s annual prize giving ceremony. This time the Salute was awarded to a distinguished old Peterite & then Minister late Hon. Gamini Athukorala MP Esq. The platoon also took part in annual battalion assessment camp and for the first time a college platoon was seen attending annual camp at Rantembe as it was opened in previous year.
