Lt. H. Jayasekera

Mainly through the efforts of Lt. H. Jayasekera and the able assistance of Mr. Austin L. Fernando, the Junior Cadets won the Cup for Squad Drill and Sports, and tied for the first place in All Round Efficiency and ‘Kularatne Challenge Cup’ for achieving First place in Commander’s Test. Further in 1955 Silver Jubilee of Cadeting at St. Peter’s College was celebrated in a fitting manner with a Grand Parade and Tattoo on the College grounds. The Chief Guest was the Army Commander, Major General H. W. G. Wijekoon, who inspected the Guard-of Honour in company of Rev. Fr. Rector and Major J. P. E. Dias, Battalion Commander of the First Battalion CCC and Major M. C. F. Abeykoon were present.
